Tapuh Clothing is a slow-fashion brand that focuses on making timeless pieces using natural fibre fabrics. Tapuh was founded by Claudia Naen back in 2020 and was birthed from her love of dressmaking and passion for bold colours and beautiful quality fabrics. Tapuh Clothing works on a made-to-order model as a way to reduce unwanted clothing and textile waste. Alongside this, Claudia also saves all fabric scraps and remnants produced from making her clothes, selling larger pieces in curated bundles, and donating smaller pieces to willing customers who will find good use for them. The goal of Tapuh Clothing was to marry the joy of dressing and playing with persona, with a conscious mindset – aiming to promote conscious-consumption and investment purchases. Claudia has been inspired by traditional clothing from around the world, as well as looking at historical garments and techniques, creating a unique blend of eras and places within her pieces. With a drive to make dressing expressive and whimsical, Claudia has built a vibrant world of colour and intrigue through Tapuh Clothing.
