Nazanin Rassa
Nazanin Rassa (she/her) is an Afghan-born artist, educator, health justice activist and doctor based in Bristol. Drawing on memory and personal archives, she uses visual symbolism to communicate stories around migration, community, belonging and ritual. With a particular interest in painting, Nazanin’s work engages with abstraction, figuration and magical realism. Through her practice, Nazanin aims to carve out spaces for re-imagining and dreaming towards our collective liberation.
