My name is Emily and I run a small Bristol based business making dungarees and dresses out of vintage and nostalgic fabric. Anything from a Postman Pat dress from the 1989, or Princess Barbie from 1997… I’m obsessed with all things colourful, quirky and full of the best childhood memories. As who says clothing needs to be boring!
Alongside making clothing I also make jewellery from 90s Happy Meal toys and handbags from vintage lunchboxes… I mean, you got to complete the whole kids-core vibe with accessories.
As well as my clothing, I also make quirky, one-of-a-kind colourful artworks! A perfect addition to any Maximalist homes!.
I like to call my collection ‘vegan taxidermy’, as they are a witty play on the traditional taxidermy from years past. Using papier-mâché, I make colourful cartoon-esque sea creatures, vegetables and insects, and mount them on hand-painted wood which can then be hung on the wall. The majority of the work is complimented by a little humorous plaque, making it a fun, whimsical piece of artwork.
