My name is Cat, owner of Catupholstery, a one woman business focussed on auto- upholstery (Trimmer). I have worked on an array of lush classic cars including a few 60’s VW splitscreen campervans, a few 1971 Peuguot J7a 1960’s classic red mini, a 1964 Morris Traveller to name a few. As well as these, I have also done work for some local Bristol businesses, such as Bianchi’s on Picton Street, Husk Kitchen’s showroom and collaborating with Xylotek to complete ARUP’s new working spaces in Birmingham.
I have worked with a few different van convertors over the years and completed some rather wonderfully quirky interiors for a variety of campervans
I have worked with Quirky Campers, Bianchis, HUSK Kitchens, Xylotek, ARUP, March Hare, numerous campervan converters among many others. I have completed projects ranging from classic car seat restoration and luxury overland camper interiors to large scale restaurant and auditorium fit outs. I also offer courses for those wanting to learn more about the specific skills involved in trimming. My best work includes the considered selection and pairing of appropriate materials and fabrics that maximise useability and style and a laser focus on the small intricate details that produce a perfect finish.
